Creating a TAGPAY DEMO account is fast and easy. Just call +33 1 74 71 44 22 from the cell phone you wish to use for your TAGPAY DEMO account.

Opening an account with TAGPAY DEMO is free. You may instantly access your client space on demo.tagpay.fr to load money onto your account using a bank card (VISA, MASTERCARD, etc.).

How to pay a merchant using your cell phone?

With TAGPAY DEMO, you can use your cell phone to make purchases with your favorite merchants. Paying by phone in a store is easy. Simply:

  1. Enter your phone number in the merchant's terminal.
  2. TAGPAY DEMO will call you. Simply answer the call and dip your cellphone in the terminal.
  3. Your purchase will be confirmed by text message.

How to make purchases online using TAGPAY DEMO?

Online merchants can accept payments by TAGPAY DEMO conveniently and securely on their e-commerce sites. When checking out on the website, click on the TAGPAY DEMO icon to pay by TAGPAY DEMO. You will be automatically redirected to the TAGPAY DEMO secure payment site where your cell phone will be used to authenticate the transaction.

How to load money onto your TAGPAY DEMO account?

You can recharge your TAGPAY DEMO account on the web using your credit card or directly through the merchant using any accepted payment method.

On the web (demo.tagpay.fr), access your client space securely by answering your cell when TAGPAY DEMO calls to authenticate you. Click the Credit icon next to the account you wish to add money to. To load an account with a specific merchant, click on the credit icon for that merchant.  This will bring you to a secure PayBox�site where your card information will be entered and processed. For added convenience, save your settings to automatically recharge your account with a bankcard.

To add money to your TAGPAY DEMO account with a TagPay Merchant or Agent, first pay the amount that you wish to load on your account (by cash, card, or other accepted payment methods). Enter your phone number in the merchant's terminal and when TAGPAY DEMO calls you answer the call and dip your phone in the merchant's terminal. A text message will be sent to you to confirm the recharge transaction.

Can a TAGPAY DEMO merchant contact me ?

From time to time, your favorite merchants may send special offers or other information to your phone or email through TAGPAY DEMO. TAGPAY DEMO protects your identity and phone numbers are never disclosed to merchants or any third party. Merchants can only send text messages or e-mails to their clients through TAGPAY DEMO and communications are controlled to prevent spamming.  You may change your account settings at any time to control whether and how TAGPAY DEMO merchants may communicate with you.

How much does TAGPAY DEMO cost?

Currently, opening a TAGPAY DEMO account is 100% free. There are no obligations and you may cancel your TAGPAY DEMO account at any time. Remaining credit is non-refundable in the event of account termination.

A transfer fee of 0.20 � applies to money transfers made using the TagPay website or by calling the IVR +33 1 74 71 44 22. To transfer money with an Agent, a fee of 0,20 � plus 6% of the amount being transfered applies.

What if I lose my cell phone?

Your TAGPAY DEMO account is linked to your phone number. Therefore, if you lose your phone and are able to keep your phone number you will be able to use your TAGPAY DEMO account with your new phone. If you cannot keep your old phone number, you must request a number change procedure form from TAGPAY DEMO. Number change procedures are strictly regulated and require proof of old and new number accounts. You must have completed your TAGPAY DEMO enrollment on your Client account settings page to be able to complete the number change procedure. Rigorous security is necessary to prevent fraudulent number changes.

How secure is TAGPAY DEMO?

TAGPAY DEMO transactions are made using Tagattitude's patented NSDT technology. This technology provides a very high level of security (smart card level) for both online transactions and transactions with participating merchants. The security of TAGPAY DEMO also rests on the security of your phone's SIM card, which is incorruptible. As long as you have your phone and secret passcode, no one can use your TAGPAY DEMO account. Access to your client space on the TAGPAY DEMO website is equally protected using NSDT and access is only granted if the phone is present.

TAGPAY DEMO does not store any payment or credit card information. This sensitive information is only used by certified payment service provider partner PayBox during recharge transactions. PayBox handles account recharge transactions securely and keeps user information protected.  

TAGPAY DEMO never discloses client phone numbers, emails, or other information to merchants or any other third party.

How can I transfer money using TAGPAY DEMO?

No matter what your money transfer needs are, TAGPAY DEMO has a very convenient solution. Just go to demo.tagpay.fr, and click on the Gift icon next to your TAGPAY DEMO account. To send money dedicated to a specific merchant account click the gift icon next to the merchant of your choice. You will be asked to enter the recipient's phone number and you may write a personalized message that will be included in the text message sent to the recipient. Anyone can receive a gift, they do not need to have a TAGPAY DEMO account; they only need a phone.

Can I get a receipt for my TAGPAY DEMO purchases?

TAGPAY DEMO can send you an email every time you spend using TAGPAY DEMO or recharge your account. You can set your account preferences to best manage and track your TAGPAY DEMO purchases. You will also get an SMS after each transaction.

How long is the money in my TAGPAY DEMO account valid?

Your prepaid TAGPAY DEMO credit is valid one year from the last date of recharge. You will be notified by email 1 month prior to the expiration of your credit so that you can think to recharge your account or use your remaining balance.

How can I cancel my TAGPAY DEMO account?

To cancel your account, email your request to Tagattitude at tagpay@tagattitude.fr. Your account will be canceled within 24 hours. Please note that any remaining TAGPAY DEMO credit will be lost and cannot be reimbursed or used once the account is canceled.

Becoming a TAGPAY DEMO merchant is very simple: just contact Tagattitude at info@tagattitude.fr. Tagattitude will then send you a TAGPAY DEMO service contract and once this contract is returned you will receive a TAGPAY DEMO terminal used to accept payments. You will be given all of the necessary information to launch and run your TAGPAY DEMO system and will have access to a merchant space on the TAGPAY DEMO website where you can set, manage, and monitor your TAGPAY DEMO system.
